The co-op offers a scenic, rather secluded and quiet living environment with views of the Hudson River and Lenior Preserve. Deer and turkey are often seen in the surrounding area (or run over on the road).

The building is located within the City of Yonkers and a northern portion of the site within the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson.  It is bordered by the 39 acre Lenior Preserve, Old Croton Aqueduct Trail and Riverpointe Homeowners Association.  Dudley Street (from Broadway to David Lane) is a private road (David Lane is officially 1161 N. Broadway) which Riveredge has an easement for ingress and egress, this is the only entry/exit road.  

Other facilities available are an exercise room , laundry room , bike storage area, resident storage space , in / out door pools , indoor / carport parking and outdoor picnic area.  

The building is pet friendly, security includes closed circuit TV and a nightly guard. Cablevision and Verizon Fios are available along with master antenna service. Wi-Fi access is available at the outdoor pool. 9/2013

It is a 40 minute train ride to Grand Central via Metro North - you need to walk 1/4 mile on the aqueduct trail or drive to Greystone station. The Saw Mill River Parkway is 1/4 mile away. Bee-line bus service is available on Broadway. St. John's Riverside Hospital is located 1/4 of a mile from the building. The A&P grocery store that was located 1/4 of a mile from the building in Hastings closed in December 2015.
